August 2001
Success In Style began its mission in the basement of the founder’s home.
January 2002
Success In Style is incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in Ellicott City, Maryland.
December 2002
SIS is gifted its first client consultation studio—a mere 200 square feet—in Ellicott City, Maryland.
July 2008
SIS opened its first resale boutique, Charity’s Closet in Ellicott City, as a supporting funding stream. It was managed and run by teens.
August 2011
Charity’s Closet moved to Historic Savage Mill mall in Savage, Maryland, with the model moving to an adult volunteer operation.
September 2011
SIS opened an additional client consultation studio in The MultiService Center in Laurel, Maryland.
February 2012
SIS moved its Ellicott City studio and corporate address to Historic Savage Mill.
June 2013
SIS opens a client consultation studio at the Woodstock Job Corps Center in Baltimore County, Maryland.
November 2013
Success In Style opens another resale boutique, Cherie Sustainable Bridal.
April 2015
Success In Style opens a client consultation studio in the Glen Burnie District Court House.
January 2016
Success In Style opens a client consultation studio at the Woodland Job Corps Center in Anne Arundel County, MD.
August 2017
Success In Style opens Charity’s First Picks, an upscale clothing resale boutique at Historic Savage Mill.
November 2017
SIS opens a client consultation studio at Potomac Job Corps in Washington, DC.
